On your first visit, you will be asked to arrive early to complete the medical and dental history forms. Please bring a list of all medications that you are currently taking and please provide information of your previous dentist and if any x-rays were taken recently so we can facilitate the transfer of your records.
The New Patient Examination appointment involves a thorough review of your general and oral health. We perform a complete examination of the head and neck area, the oral and dental structures to have a complete account of your oral health status.
Specific radiographs (x-rays) will be prescribed using digital technology to investigate structures and abnormalities which cannot be seen visually.
Photographs and study models are additional aides we may use to complete the picture.
We then formulate an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
We work hard to ensure our patients are comfortable during their dental visit.
We understand that some patients feel anxious about receiving dental treatment, which is why we set up our office for a relaxing and pleasant experience.
During your treatment, we offer headphones and access to different TV programs to filter out the dental office sounds and help you relax. Sit back, choose your favourite program and “tune out”.
